- There's a new C/C++ compiles called StormC (by Maxxon I think) that
- soon will be able to compile for the PowerAmiga. This would atleast
- solve the "How To".
- Companies can start developing PowerAmiga now and be ready when it
- enters the market.

- The only problem with the DEC ALPHA series is that it's the most
- expensive line of processors in the world. Sure, they have the fastest
- processors, but the PowerPC gives better price/performance ratio.

- The only way for the Amiga to survive now is to be compatible. If
- everyone else uses PowerPC so do we. That's the only way to get
- software developed when the userbase is as small as the Amiga's is.
- Companies cannot justify the cost of developing solely for the Amiga
- any more. If they could do something that would work on all PowerPC
- (PPCP compliant) computers that's more cost effective. Companies could
- add some extra Bells and Whistles for the Amiga (assuming we get a
- kickass chipset) but the software would run on all PPC computers. The
- DEC ALPHA just won't give us that, even if it is a superior processor.
